Trevor Huddleston extends his points lead with another ARCA West win at the Las Vegas Bullring on Friday night in the Star Nursery 150.
LAS VEGAS, NV. – Although he did not officially clinch the ARCA Menards Series West championship at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday, Trevor Huddleston got one step closer to securing that milestone.
Trevor Huddleston’s Win at Las Vegas
The veteran racer put together a stellar performance in the Star Nursery 150 to pick up an important fourth victory in the 2025 season. Huddleston dealt with several late cautions, one of which was extended due to weather, but survived the attrition to celebrate his first trip to Victory Lane at The Bullring.
When the day started, Huddleston doubted he would have a car capable of being able to contend at the front of the field. Despite the adversity, Huddleston’s faith in his High Point Racing team was rewarded, as he now has the West Series title within his grasp.
“We did not unload good,” Huddleston said. “[My crew] stuck to it and they made it happen. That was a little rough, but it was an amazing battle with everybody. “
Trevor Huddleston vs. Kyle Keller
For as efficient as Huddleston’s outing was at The Bullring on Saturday, it was not without an excursion with Kyle Keller, who only trailed by 18 points entering the Star Nursery 150.
As Huddleston and Keller were negotiating the lapped car of Shane Backes while simultaneously battling for the lead, the former took a deep entry into the first turn under Backes with Keller up top. The two ended up making contact, which cut Keller’s left-front tire down and left him several laps down to the leaders.
Connor Hall Contends
With Keller out of contention, the only obstacle standing in Huddleston’s path to another victory was two-time NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series champion Connor Hall in his West Series debut. Hall managed his first trip to The Bullring effectively and managed to wrestle the lead away from Huddleston.
Poor timing ended up costing Hall, as he backed out of the throttle on the frontstretch to avoid the slow car of Dustin Hillenburg, allowing Huddleston to re-take the top spot. The onslaught of cautions prevented Hall from building enough momentum to challenge Huddleston again, but he still ended the evening with a solid second-place run.
Up until Saturday’s Star Nursery 150, Hall had never ventured west of the Mississippi River for any reason. While he wished circumstances played more into his favor throughout the weekend, Hall found satisfaction in how his first West Series start transpired and is eager for his next race with Sigma Performance Services.
“It’s unfortunate that we battled the weather and didn’t get to qualify,” Hall said. “We ran more laps under yellow than we got to under green, but we focused too much on our long run pace. If my Magic 8 ball was working yesterday, I would have focused a little bit more on short runs.
“This was an incredible opportunity, and we’re going to show who is boss when it comes to Phoenix [Raceway].”
A Banner Year for Huddleston
By fending off Hall, Huddleston continues a career year in the West Series. The most wins Huddleston had accumulated in a prior West Series season was two, a feat he accomplished in 2019 and during the most recent campaign.

Huddleston also possesses two consecutive West Series championship finishes of third. He is now poised to finally become a West Series champion in his ninth year with the division.
The one aspect from Saturday’s triumph Huddleston wishes he could redo is the collision with Keller during the opening stages. Huddleston has appreciated the way Keller has fought him all season long and did not want to further impede the young driver’s title hopes with an on-track incident.
The ARCA West Point Standings
Instead, Huddleston now has a sizeable advantage heading into the West Series finale, one race away from achieving immortality.
“We had some transmission issues,” Huddleston said about his battle with Keller. “I lost it into neutral, hit the rumble strips and got into Kyle. It was a bummer deal and I knew we were going to have a great battle. People are going to be mad a little bit, but that’s part of racing I guess.
“Win number four is pretty awesome and I’m pretty speechless.”
