One of the most exciting things in racing is short track racing under the lights.

On this coming Friday night, the Nationwide Series drivers will be out on the track competing for the win under the lights. Richmond always puts on a great show and this Friday Night should be no different. All of the Nationwide Series regulars are ready to get back on the track after a week off and they all will be hungry for the win, along with Sprint Cup regulars in the race also looking to bring home the victory. When the Kansas Speedway reconfigured their track surface, before last October’s race, they created a track that could feature some action-packed and intense racing. Drivers attempted to figure-out their way around the new surface of the mile-and-a-half track last October, and left with some knowledge and mainly torn up sheet-metal. The race featured multiple incidents and  went down in the history books as one of the most exciting races in the history of the Kansas Speedway. Fans are hoping for a repeat performance when NASCAR’s Generation Six cars take to the track this weekend and they likely won’t be disappointed. Continue reading

Texas Cowboy Hat Goes to Dominant Kyle Busch

In another impressive Nationwide Series performance, Kyle Busch is back in victory lane for the third straight race. Busch has been on a roll so far this season and four wins in six races isn’t too bad. He managed to stay out front all night and was there to take the checkered flag when it fell. Although lots of big-time Cup Drivers were in the race, Kyle  Busch was the best of all and that put him in victory lane at the end of the night. Continue reading
