It is hard to imagine that NASCAR‘s most popular driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr., is still looking for sponsorship as the new season is just around the corner, but it’s true. Maybe it’s the economy, ticket sales or the asking price. We may never truly know. But one thing we have learned, finding sponsorship for premier NASCAR teams is as hard as it has ever been. Daytona Preseason Thunder at Daytona International Speedway on January 14, 2012 in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Sprint Cup testing from Daytona will take place starting tomorrow. Testing is from 9am to 5pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with mid day breaks. The test session will be televised live on SPEED everyday as well as on speedtv.com. If weather becomes a factor, NASCAR will allow testing on Sunday.
