Ty Majeski (No. 22 Crestliner Ford) scored a surprise victory in Thursday night’s ARCA Menards Series General Tire 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, taking the lead on a late restart and holding off Sheldon Creed (No. 21 Chevy Accessories Chevrolet) and Gus Dean (No. 32 Icebox Helmet Coolers Chevrolet) in a two-lap dash to the checkered.

Defending ARCA Menards Series Champion Sheldon Creed to be Inducted into International Motorsports Hall of Fame ARCA Wall of Champions

Sheldon Creed, the 2018 ARCA Menards Series champion, will be inducted into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame’s ARCA Wall of Champions on Thursday, April 25. Creed, who won four times on his way to the title, currently drives for GMS Racing’s NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series team. He has also maintained his presence in Robby Gordon’s Stadium Super Truck Series, where he won both halves of a doubleheader at Texas Motor Speedway.

ARCA Menards Series Title Possible for Rookie Christian Eckes with Venturini Motorsports

Last year, Sheldon Creed won the ARCA Menards Series championship in his first year driving full-time in the series but wasn’t eligible as a rookie due to his previous number of starts.  In 2019, Venturini Motorsports is looking to make a Rookie of the Year contender the series champion as well, having tabbed young 18-year old Christian Eckes to drive their No. 15 JBL Audio Toyota full-time.
