Rookie Cole Custer Sets Up the XFINITY Series Playoff as One to Watch

Heading into Chicagoland Speedway this weekend, rookie Cole Custer with Stewart Haas Racing wasn’t one to get a lot of attention, but it’s clear Custer is a quick study, soaking up what it takes to race in one of NASCAR’s top-three series. After leading 41 laps of the race, his seventh-place finish at Chicagoland on Saturday afternoon puts him in eighth-place for the first race of the XFINITY Series playoff season.  Continue reading →

NASCAR XFINITY Series teams are gearing up for their last race of the regular season at Chicagoland Speedway for TheHouse.com 300 on Saturday, September 16th at 3:30 pm ET. Coverage begins at 3 pm ET on NBC Sports Network with radio coverage available on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

Drivers will race 300 miles over 200 laps with Stage 1 ending on lap 45, Stage 2 on lap 90 and the last Stage ends on the last lap 200. Continue reading →

Only two races remain until the NASCAR XFINITY Series playoffs.

For some drivers, the final two contests are chances to make the postseason. For William Byron, the last two regular season races are opportunities to pad his series-leading playoff point total of 17. The next-closest driver – Justin Allgaier – owns eight playoff points. Continue reading →
